The bureau's founder and chief architect
Alina Khodymchuk, is a certified Ukrainian architect and interior designer with over 13 years of international experience, passionate about construction and beautiful life. Her love for buildings was formed in her early childhood, as she comes from a family of builders. Her father was a supervisory engineer and always called the houses “his”.
The knowledge of the importance and responsibility of the process was acquired at home, before the university classroom. Her mother is a specialist in estimate and contractual relations and instilled in me an understanding of the importance of organization in such a complex activity. In pre-Soviet times, her ancestors were icon painters who painted churches. All this affected the understanding of the value of the construction product, its significance and timelessness.
Since I was a little girl, it was physically painful for me to look at the buildings that were being destroyed. I couldn't understand how anyone could leave a building unfinished. I sincerely believe that they should all live: it should be warm, light and cosy!
